Ilari Kaila and Tim Page have launched “Obama the Conservative”, a blog that features an extensive, thoroughly referenced, but concise history — organized according to issue — of President Obama’s failure to advance the progressive agenda in spite of his lofty rhetoric. At a time when liberals spend much of their energy fending off attacks on Obama from the Right, we hope that this blog will serve as a resource for remobilizing the electorate, shifting the political discourse back to the left, and reminding us of the reasons why we supported candidate Obama in the first place.

The authors will accept contributions to editorial content of the site, including additional sources, suggestions for topics to be covered, and corrections.
